Wrestling in Rocklin

Youth, high school, and adult wrestling on our mats at 2315 Sunset Blvd in Rocklin.

Run by Our partner wrestling program2315 Sunset Blvd, Rocklin, CA 95765

Wrestling is one of the hardest working sports a young athlete can take up, and one of the best at building the habits that carry over everywhere else. Wrestlers learn to control their own body and someone else’s, to keep working when they are tired, and to lose a round and go straight back out for the next one.

Training runs on our mats at 2315 Sunset Blvd through the week, with separate groups for youth, high school, and adult wrestlers so athletes work with people their own size and level. New wrestlers are welcome. Most start with no experience at all.

What Wrestlers Work On

  • Stance, motion, and level changes, the base every technique is built on
  • Takedowns, from single and double legs to setups and reattacks
  • Top position, rides, and turns for scoring once the match hits the mat
  • Escapes and reversals so a bad position never becomes a lost match
  • Live wrestling every session, at a pace matched to the group
  • Conditioning, weight management habits, and competition mindset
